"Any new games coming out I should know about? I'm so bored here even though the days seem to pass quickly. I can't wait to get out of MCRD, even the few weeks in Pendleton seem like they'll be tons more fun than walking around with a weapon that I can't fire yet for 8 hours a day. Next week is swim week but I'm told I'll stay down here for that. I highly doubt I'll ever see you at Pendleton but it'd be awesome even to just know I'm closer to you. It still hasn't hit me that I'm not at home. I still wake up and think I'm home and I'll get to sit on my ass all day playing games. Things are going well here though. I've got a pretty good platoon despite the retards tagging along. I honestly don't know how some of them are still here with all the stupid shit they keep doing. Beating them with soap sounds like tremendous fun but I'm afraid it'll just make them stupider. Bleh, enough about here, i wanna know what's all going on out there. Anything new and exciting? | Anna again. I got a letter from Eric today! I'm editing out stuff that was just for me and Trav.
"Well, I finally got my sexy glasses today. I'm so freakin HAWT! Honestly though, I've been told I look kinda like Mr. Bean. They completely destroy my peripheral vision too... Not too much happening here. So far we're the best platoon in our series. There's contests randomly for a flag and we've only lost it once out of 5 or 6 time and it was only because we cheered after winning so they took it away. That and we're the best at drill since we practice morning to night when not in class or PT... So far I haven't heard the term 'behoove you' or whatever yet. | 15 days...In some ways its too long, in many others not long enough. Fifteen days until five years. I'll miss all of you and I'm sorry for everything I did, or did not do. I wish I had more time to see all of you before I leave your lives, possibly forever, but at the same time I want to leave now and get away from everything.

| ...so its been 5 months since my last update. i think this calls for a real one.
lets see...
I've started school finally. nearly at the end of the first term, general classes for the lose. much dislike for online classes too. i can get around discussion points by answering questions in class, online i'm much less motivated to do so.
As some of you know, I met the most wonderful woman ever. Ellen works part time at penneys with me, she also has a job at a wisconsin historical magazine. She graduated from whitewater in may with an english degree and has been kind enough to put up with my geeky habits. we started going out in january, right around my last posts.
uhh...the rest of my time is spent either working, reading or gaming...not much new on those fronts.

I bought a couple old x-box games that were awesome, Star Wars the original trilogy (because my dad only has them on VHS, bleh) Evil Dead (because I already have 2 and Army of Darkness), Resident Evil: Extinction, Jersey Girl (a not-so-comedy drama by Kevin Smith), Employee of the Month, and the Halo 3 Soundtrack.
